Finding your Time to ‘Take a Moment'

One-minute clock

You may be aware that everyone has their own best times of the day.  You may be a lark or an owl, a morning person or an afternoon or evening person.  This will affect the best time of day for you to begin your inner adventure.  Choose your best time.  Early risers would be best advised to take their minute earlier, perhaps on the way to work.  Cycling and walking in less busy areas are brilliant for taking a moment, as is train travel, but driving a vehicle may not be!

Evening people may find that a good time is after the evening meal, or after having put the children to bed.  You will need to have a system to get yourself to do this ‘taking a minute' routine, or after a week you'll suddenly realise that you've only done it once or twice.  Try putting it in your diary for a month, as it takes about that long to get practised at taking the time out.  After a month, you may observe that the minute has expanded.
