I don't think there is a God - how can I pray?
Some see prayer as about belief: trying hard to please a God they feel they should believe in
Others see prayer as ritual: a thing you do, a comfort of regularity
Some see prayer as a pause: a break, a reminder of all that is beyond their busyness
Some do not see prayer at all either because they think it irrelevant or because it is as relevant and natural as breathing
If prayer is a challenge, let it not be a challenge
If you have the desire to pray, let it be your secret
If there is a God, God will hear
If there is no God, you at least will hear
And may be refreshed and helped
Let it be your secret.
