Feeling lonely
Easy to say that you're there when no one else is
But I need more than that
I need human contact
Human care
So I place this loneliness down in front of you
Knowing that it may not last
Knowing that some of it is to do with me and my thoughts
Knowing that loneliness is not all of me, not the definition of me
Yet it is real
I think that the only solution is a human friend or lover
Yet I know you're not my dating agency or introduction agent
I'm going to ask for something
For wisdom in my loneliness
And for hope for the future
