Through Books for Life, Feed the Minds and SPCK equip the worldwide Church with books, funding and advice, enabling Church leaders to serve their communities and encouraging indigenous creativity, thought and leadership worldwide.
Feed the Minds has launched an innovative new programme which aims to build understanding and break down barriers between Christians and Muslims in the UK.
Work overseas has always been a vital part of our mandate. We have been providing theological and other educational literature and resources across the globe for more than 300 years.
Since 2003 we have been doing this through a strategic partnership with Feed the Minds who share our goals. This has enabled us to work more efficiently and provide increased support to the Church in under-developed countries.
SPCK Trustees participate in the Executive Committee of Feed the Minds, actively overseeing and guiding its programmes of support. These range from theological education to funding for indigenous publishing, books and training in some of the poorest parts of the world.
All donations payable to SPCK Worldwide are gratefully received and will be passed onto Feed the Minds and allocated to the area of greatest need, unless you want to give to a specific programme such as support for ordinands (see www.booksforlife.info). We ask that all future donations to SPCK Worldwide and Books for Life be made payable directly to Feed the Minds to reduce administrative costs.
SPCK continues to supply Feed the Minds with the International Study Guides which are given to students in the developing world training for ministry. We now also actively channel support for Christian publishing initiatives in developing countries through Feed the Minds.
